SameTake
Terms of Use
Terms for using SameTake and its optional Premium subscription.
Last updated: August 16, 2026
These Terms of Use apply to SameTake, an iPhone app provided by Ilia Kolobov in California, United States (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading or using SameTake, you agree to these Terms.
Using SameTake
SameTake lets you record one original video and create vertical and horizontal versions from it.
Your videos are processed locally on your device. We do not require an account, upload your videos to our servers, or provide iCloud backup for SameTake.
You are responsible for the videos you record, save, share, and delete through the app.
SameTake Premium
SameTake Premium is an optional auto-renewable subscription. Premium removes SameTake branding from vertical and horizontal video exports. Your original recorded video is always clean and unbranded, whether you use the Free version or Premium.
SameTake offers Monthly and Yearly Premium plans. At launch, Premium does not include a free trial, promotional discount, or introductory offer.
The available plan, subscription duration, and price are shown in the app before you confirm your purchase. Prices may vary by country or region and are shown in your local App Store currency.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm your purchase.
Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Apple may charge your account for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through Apple's subscription settings. You can restore a previous Premium purchase from the SameTake Premium screen.
Apple handles billing, subscription changes, cancellations, and refund requests according to its applicable policies.
Availability and reliability
We work to make SameTake useful and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Creating video files depends on your device, available storage, battery level, iOS version, and system services. Keep the app open while your videos are being created.
If an operation is interrupted, SameTake is designed to preserve the original recording when possible and offer recovery options. However, you should review and save your videos after creating them.
Privacy
Your use of SameTake is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when SameTake or its Premium subscription changes. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and applicable laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your place of residence gives you additional non-waivable rights.
