Camera, microphone, and Photos access
The app needs Camera access to record video, Microphone access to include audio, and Photos access to save finished videos directly to your library. You can change any permission later in iPhone Settings.
Using the flashlight
Start recording, then tap the flashlight control on the main camera screen to turn the light on or off. The flashlight turns off automatically when recording ends.
Free recordings and Lifetime Unlock
The free version includes five successfully saved videos where the flashlight was used. Regular video recording without the flashlight is unlimited. A one-time $3.99 Lifetime Unlock provides unlimited flashlight-assisted recordings with no subscription.
Privacy and contact
Videos are saved locally to your Photos library and are not uploaded to our servers. If you need help, email actuallyusefulapp@gmail.com.
